[ When DiMA turns on his video feed to reply, Ianchus is quite possibly in for a shock. The person on the other end is visibly mechanical, and in a dramatic state of disrepair. His synthetic skin is damaged and torn, wires and tubes running out of him and cobbled-together components jutting from his head and shoulders. DiMA is a mass of exposed wires and damaged metal, but he has a kind and gentle smile.
His face, actually, is incredibly familiar, for as strange as the rest of him is. It's the same as Nick's. Identical, actually, save for their eyes. Hmm. ]

[By virtue of being stranded alone with Nick as one of his only companions, Ianchus has grown somewhat used to his...alien appearance. This one, however, is entirely different, and his expression changes for a moment, that mingled surprise and unease. Dimly, he does notice the similarity to Nick, but the strangeness of what he's seeing.
But Ianchus is, at his core, the utmost of extraverts, and always open to meeting and understanding new people. He fixes his face into a smile--an honest one.]

I am uncertain, honestly. I think it is more accurate to say that we are twins, as we were created and brought online together. But to be very technical, Nick may be older. His mind is older.

I'm afraid... well. The main issue is that he does not remember me. May not accept or need me now that he has formed his own family. But he is very important to who I am, and my own identity.
And you can't simply...talk to him? He seemed...[Ianchus considers whether the word he plans to use is accurate or not, and decides, yes.] ...Kind enough.
My brother is a wonderful person, but he is also very private. I have been trying to talk to him. I've been making myself available if he wishes to speak to me, but I worry he does not.
Perhaps I should back off, you might say. I don't know how much to push, or if I did step away, whether he would ever choose to come to me with those he has here. I'm glad he has family, has made connections that mean so much to him. I just cannot help feeling... wistful, maybe?
Ah...that's understandable of course. [He gives DiMA a sympathetic smile. It's something he can certainly understand; funny how these beings' problems can be...so similar to peoples'.]

Very little, honestly. He's told me plenty about this place, and about his memory issues that I knew already, but not much personal. Nothing that would indicate to me whether he'd like to pursue a relationship beyond my presence as any other citizen.

All I can think of is...ask him directly. Lay it out for him like that, like you told me. Tell him you're not sure whether his silence is him being private or busy, or, ah... [Or not wanting to talk at all. Not wanting a relationship for whatever reason.]
